Humans vs Zombies is a live-action game of moderated tag normally played on high school and college campuses across the nation.  The game consists of two teams the Humans and the Zombies in the classic cat-and-mouse tale between the hunter, fighting for survival, and the ever growing horde of flesh-eating undead.  The “moderated” part of this unusual game of tag morphs it from simple to extraordinary making the experience insanely fun with an effect on it’s players that can last far beyond the event dates.  Exactly as the website suggests, “The simple task of walking to class becomes a life or death situation”.  For more information visit: www.humansvszombies.org

The stories on this website (travis4real) are the ramblings of my personal zombies itching to break out and release their deadly torment upon this previously un-stained blog.  Now that I’ve had a quick look with how things might turn out with ‘Nerf-y Fate’ I rather like the look of blood on my blog, even if it is non-existent foam dart gun blood.  Oh but Shh… Administration doesn’t like the word “gun”…it’s foam dart “blaster”.  There you go, now it’s high school friendly!  :D   Anyway, hope you enjoy the zombie mayhem!

Just as a formality, I did not create nor own the game Humans Vs Zombies, it was invented in 2005 by Brad Sappington and Chris Weed at Goucher College.  I simply am hugely impressed by it’s awesome and in sheer boredom decided to write a story of how things would have gone down at my high school’s miserably failed attempt at starting a game.  I am sad now, please do not make it worse by assuming I own anything relating to Humans Vs Zombies other than the stories written on my personal blog here.  Excuse me while I go sit in a corner and shoot myself with a Nerf dart “blaster”.
