Dear Evan,
Yes, I have been hiding behind the bushes looking at you like some kind of stalker would…in case you missed it, that was sarcasm. Both you and I have been curious to see each other after our long stream of letters, but don’t get all smug thinking that you know me all too well; or at all for that matter. It’s not like I wanted to leave; I just had other things to take care of, something much more important than waiting around in some empty graveyard for some boy I have never met before. And for the record, I’m not some shy little girl. If I could find the chance, I will take it.
Boy, you should read this over again and listen to yourself preaching. Getting another lecture is the last thing I wanted to see. You didn’t have to look so deeply into that question. It was something I asked on a whim, but thanks for replying with your…long winded answer.
By the way, does your father still not approve of you sending letters to a stranger? He’s being pretty uptight if you ask me.
Sincerely the Girl in the Coffin,
