The Fullest

I want to see the world
et consulter le Parisien rues,
remojar en que el sol español
и слышать русский бьет

البقاء حتى من خلال ليلة وليلة
研究中華民族優秀的藝術
streckte Deutsch Burg leuchtet
と日本の武道を学ぶ

mas, depois que a alma busca no Rio
और ताजमहल पार
Home is where I’ll be headed, finally,
To have lived, once and for all.

Translation:

I want to see the world
And view the Parisian streets,
Soak in that Spanish sun
And hear those Russian beats
Stay up through Arabian nights
And study fine Chinese art
Put out German castle lights
And learn Japanese martial arts
But after I soul search in Rio
And traverse the Taj Mahal
Home is where I'll be headed, finally,
To have lived, once and for all.

This poem was inspired by my love for traveling and learning different languages and was constructed from the top 10 languages of the world based on influence.  Statistics taken from Figure 2 in http://www.andaman.org/BOOK/reprints/weber/rep-weber.htm Translations provided by iGoogle.  Later I’ll figure out a way to get pronunciations for each language, yeah, I want to be able to recite this.  :)
